I woke up this morning with a pain in my stomach, and I thought, "Oh God, it's happened. My stomach has collapsed into itself." ... But it was just cramps. I still had a big bowl of ramen just to be safe.

Anyhow, I spent the whole day in my PJs, mostly bedridden lol. I found my Office Season Five dvds that I had never opened yesterday and watched an episode or two, and I kicked it into high gear today. I forgot how much I loved this show. (:

Andy went out to Best Buy and got me a recorder lol. Personally, I think if you're going to be recording a lecture, you might as well just videotape it, amirite? I mean, at least that way you can get in any notes the professor puts on a projector, and if the speech is muffled, you can try to read their lips. But he's convinced that I need it and has also convinced Mom that I need it so yeah lol. At least his heart's in the right place haha.

I finally started doing those chemistry modules this afternoon. I actually woke up this morning and thought 'this would be a great time to start those,' but then I had the cramps. And I started watching The Office. And then I fell asleep for a few hours lol. Anyhow, the way it goes is that each module is a three-step process: pre-assessment, video, and after-assessment. The first module covered empirical and molecular equations, and I completely blanked. I was doing the pre-assessment and I couldn't for the life of me remember how to do any of it! Seriously, I felt so useless! It all came rushing back once I watched the video though. I had such a bad experience with Chem AP back in freshman year; it was my first AP class, and I had no idea what hit me. I don't know what happened; it wasn't even that hard, but I just couldn't wrap my mind around the concepts. I've had very similar experiences, initially with Calculus, and then all throughout the year with Physics. It's like my brain just locks up. But I definitely think I've gotten better with experience. The chemistry definitely made more sense and I was able to pick it up much faster the second time around.
I started the second module later on, and it was about balancing chemical equations and, well, that's like the only thing I actually remember from Chem AP, so that was pretty easy hahah.

Mom called me out to eat some corn, and I remembered the corn I had at the Obon Festival, so I dug up a few things lol. Not quite as good, but not too shabby at all. (:
