I went to lunch with Ken and Frank at Hakata Ramen today (after doing another chem module 8D). You know, Ken must be bored. Because of all the years I've known him, he has never said "Let's do somethingggg" to me hahah. Anyway, they had these really cool traditional Japanese tables! They were on this platform and were super low, so we had to pretty much sit cross-legged on pillows. Probably nothing special, but hey, I've never seen tables like these at restaurants lol.
Anyhow, the food was really good, a lot better than I remembered from the one time I came here with Mom. Umemura's still my favorite ramen place though. (x Afterwards we went back to my house because they really like going to my house for some reason. Frank had to leave at 1:30, so we just hung out in Andy's room (my old room) and talked to Andy.Mom mentioned how I never ask her first when I bring people over anymore. And I dunno, I think I just got tired of her saying no all the time. Andy never asks her before bringing his friends over, and he's so nonchalant about it, and she's so nonchalant about it, and I always used to wonder why it was okay for him to do it. I've kind of discovered over the past few months how it works with Mom. Basically, you do something, and she'll yell at you the first time it happens. Then you do it again, and she yells a little less. Then again, and nothing. It's like when I hung out with Jen and her cousin a while back, and around 12am, Mom threatened to call the police on me, and then last week, I stayed over at Jen's til well past 1am, and all I got was a call asking when I'd be back.
Anyway, I finished chem. I also finished season five of The Office. I still haven't seen Jim and Pam's wedding! ):
Started packing some clothes. Sighhhhh.
