I had my interview for the UCLA Lab School (which apparently is an actual elementary school called Seeds Elementary) today! We got there a whole hour before we needed to, but I guess it was a good thing, because the receptionist gave me the application to fill out as I wait (which was actually intended for another girl who had her interview before me at 12:30, but it worked out for the best for me!), and that turned out to be a huge chunk of the interview process. But yeah, right around 12:30pm, this girl who was all dolled up showed up, also for an interview, and I was definitely intimidated lol. Marie Parks showed up just a few minutes after she did, and they went for their interview, and were gone for a good 30 minutes! And this worried me because I can't imagine what I'd talk about for half an hour. But I think it actually went really smoothly! Again, she said that the whole interview was essentially just the application plus her telling me what the job would consist of. I spent a lot of time talking about the YMCA though; I'm thinking that's a great thing to have vouching for me! Anyway, here's hoping I get the job! (:
We went to Tampopo for dinner, and I pretty much filled up on the appetizers. Mom says it wasn't as good as the last time we came.
