Appointment with the optometrist today; it's probably gonna be the last time I come here since my insurance won't cover me this time next year. x':
Tony picked up Brian, Tiffany, and me to go visit Jen around 12:30-ish. His friend Thomas tagged along too (which I thought was weird because I'd be pretty bored if I was him lol).
After we found the campus, Tiffany stepped off to get a map since we didn't quite know where Jen's dorm was. I remembered she was in "Residence Commons", so once we had the map we found it pretty easily. (8
... I'd like to think Jen was excited when she saw us, but Jennifer is Jennifer lol. We went in to her room; there weren't many people around since I guess everyone was in class and Jen was already done for the day. Anyhow, I could really appreciate UCLA's dorms after being here hahah. I dunno, it's just so much nicer in LA; the walls in Jen's dorm looked like the walls at the YMCA, you know, like big bricks painted white.
Then Jen took us to the Japanese Gardens. It was really pretty; kind of like a bigger version of the gardens at the Armstrong Theatre. (8
Afterwards we went over to their bookstore, which is kind of like their equal of UCLA's Bruin Store. (8
We were mostly hanging around their iPad stuff, playing around with the apps. It was cool cuhs there was this one marble app game that was connected between the two iPads, and I was playing Brian and then Tony, and I won both times. And. It was awesome. And I also put down the map while we were here and forgot it here. Apparently Brian saw me leave it behind too and just did nothing lol.
We were waiting for a shuttle to take us around campus with Tiffany's friend Sherry (we ended up just walking though); she has a twin and I already knew that, but it still surprises me to see people with the same face hahah. Anyhow, I thought this really tall guy behind her looked kind of like Frank, at least his profile did hahah.
And then we walked all the way over to the Recreation Center. Tony bought me a frozen strawberry lemonade because I was thirsty and poor lol. Afterwards we took a shuttle back to Jen's dorm, and very very briefly met her roommate.
Afer we got back to Torrance and drove around aimlessly for a while, we went over to the shelter to look at dogs lol. They were all barking so loudly when we walked in, my ears were ringing! This white guy was vicious! We were like, terrified hahaha.

And then we went to look at the kittens. 8D
Almost makes me want to get a cat. (x
Then the shelter was closing, so we spent a long time being indecisive before heading over to Tozai plaza and grabbing some food at Rascal's lol.
It wasn't anything super amazing, but I like chicken teriyaki so I'm good. I was pretty sad though, cuhs I could feel all the pounds I worked so hard to drop coming back. ;_____; Also, around this time we were talking to Thomas, and apparently he's a third year at Elco. Which surprised me, cuhs this whole time I thought he was a year younger than us lol.
After we dropped Thomas off at his church, we just kind of wound up at my house, so we just played a few rounds of Brawl lol.
