294.

We went to Johnny's aunt's house today for a little get-together potluck.

As we were finishing up eating, Aunt Naimin just started playing piano, and I was just kind of like thinking 'oh God, I'm next.' And hey, I came prepared this time and brought all my sheet music with me. Last time I totally wasn't expecting it, and completely effing up that "Silver Clouds Chasing the Moon" song I found in one of their books, Dad told Mom that if there was a hole in the ground he would've hidden in it out of embarrassment LOL jerk. Anyhow, I played my Chinese song first, and it was great; Mom even applauded me haha. And then I played my "La Campanella" and it was. Meh. Hahah. That song was hard enough to play when I practiced every day, so frankly, I don't think I did half bad, considering lol.

On the way back, Aunt Naimin handed me this tiny picture (it was about 2 inches tall and wide) and asked if there was any way I could enlarge it, and I said to just scan it, since our scanners give us great resolutions. After I scanned it, Mom said the picture was kind of light and blurry and asked if I could fix it up. Which I would need Photoshop for. So I figured I might as well go ahead and try to download Photoshop myself, since Kent clearly wasn't going to do it for me. I think the hardest part was just finding a program that was mac-compatible and would open .rar files for me. The rest was ... shockingly easy. Complicated my ass.

For dinner, Andy made more tacos and quesadillas. He also went out and bought some jalapeno poppers; the relatives didn't think much of it, but I like them well enough. When I bit into the first one, the cheese bursted out onto my hand and burned it.
