We went to Del Amo to watch Scott Pilgrim today, and right when we got into the AMC building, Kent heads over to the arcade section on the way right, and tries to win this ugly green bear thing. |: Thankfully, he didn't.
The movie was really cute! They had all these little "things" that they did throughout the movie that just made it really unique. It's based off a comic, so they literally made it into a comic/game thing, which was cool, but I'm glad I knew it was supposed to be like that, or else I probably would've just thought it was really corny and lame haha.
We grabbed some Sbarro for lunch, and after we ate, I drove us over to Descanso Park, and we kind of just laid in the grass for a while and talked. I don't even want to go into what we talked about, because I feel like I'm going so back and forth with this guy, and honestly I'm so sick of blogging about it because I've become one of those girls plucking daisy petals, humming 'He loves me, he loves me not.'Even so, I'm always glad to talk to him. It's weird because now when we hang out, it takes some time for us to relax around each other, so I guess this is what we needed. There was this guy with his shirt off who was sunbathing maybe 30 feet or so away from us when we first got there, and I guess at some point he moved to the whole other end of the park. We drove him away hahaha.
And then we went over to Arlington to do flips on monkey bars (actually, I didn't because my hands kind of hurt when I grabbed the bars and put my weight on it), play handball, and ... sit on storage containers. Boys.
They have these benches all over campus.
We got some boba from the store that used to be Tapioca Express, but which I guess is now just Tapioca and sells pho lol.
When I got home, I pulled into the driveway and the neighbor's cat was just lying over there. And I couldn't see where it was when I was driving, and I was terrified to hit it, and it wasn't running away, so I got out to shoo it away. And it still wouldn't run off. So I ended up just parking my car there lol. And then a few hours later when Andy got home, he made me move it lol.
