314.

I went to work today and I really wasn't too excited at all with the classes that I had. It turned out to be alright though; Ken came by to swim so I talked to him a little bit. I was really disappointed with my last class though, because last session that was my favorite class and all the kids were great, and it was so easy and so much fun for me. And when I looked at my roster for the class, a lot of the old kids weren't there, which I guess is to be expected, since the class was pre-dolphin club, and that's the last level. Also, the class before that was pre-porpoise, and I had Joanne Qi's two younger siblings, which I was really kind of wary about, especially since they complained about me last time. But it went pretty well; they were a lot more talkative and easygoing than she was. And then my pre-dolphin class was great. Sahari and Elyssa weren't on my roster, but when class started, Katie led them to my lane and told me they were in my class, which made me pretty happy. The only ones missing now are Kyle and Sammy (and Nick and Jason, but they were barely there anyway), but it's okay. I had a few new kids too. My old kids improved almost every single one of their times, and that was just really great. I think I'll miss them when I do quit the Y.

Frank, Ken, and I were talking about hanging out today, but then it turned out Ken already made dinner plans with Emily at 5pm, so it kind of fell apart. Jen mentioned yesterday that we could come over to watch some dvds she rented from Red Box, so I fell asleep when I got home from work, and headed over around six. While we waited for Tiffany to come over from Irvine, we ate cookies and Jen did the iTunes music note I tagged her in lol.

We watched Kick-Ass lol.

You know, as soon as I saw this guy, I knew I was gonna marry someone like him hahaha. He's so dorky!

... Also he's really good looking hahaha. I mean, it was pretty obvious they got a handsome guy and nerdied him up for the role, but still. When he put on the mask, I kept thinking about how he had really pretty eyes and vaguely reminded me of the main love interest in Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging. And then I started thinking about how he probably would look like that guy if they straightened out his hair and gave him a Zac Efron 'do. (I prefer the curly hair + glasses any day though lol.)

... And then I wikipedia`d him, and his name is Aaron Johnson, and it is the same guy! I'm pretty impressed, since he's British, and he pulls off an American accent perfectly; I was convinced! Also, I'm disappointed cuhs he's married to some lady who's like twenty years older than him. D;

... Anyway back to the film lol. I really liked it! I definitely didn't expect it to be so bloody and for them to cuss so much (I also didn't know it was rated R lol), but I thought it was hilarious how they made all the serious fight scenes so lighthearted with all this cheerful music in the background hahah. Jen played like half of the movie at x 1.5 speed since she was worried about not finishing the movie before she had to return it at 9:30; it sounded pretty normal for most of the characters, but Hit Girl talked really fast to start, and she sounded kind of ridiculous with the increased speed lol.

... And then we drove over to Albertsons to drop off the dvd. Tiffany drove us back to Jen's house, and she called the high beams "hyper beams" HAHAHA. And then we said something about solar beams and flamethrowers hahaha.

We watched Pride & Prejudice afterwards. We muted the voices and turned on subtitles, and dubbed the voices ourselves half the time hahaha.
