3O1.

Went to watch Flipped with Kent today; he paid for tickets, and I paid for pretzels. (8 And lolll at the sign.

I thought it was cute. Kent hated it. Like, really hated it lol. He kept saying "This is so bad!" during the movie! Like, the whole thing was narrated, which I don't mind, since I don't know how else they could do the movie, but he hated. Also, he said a lot of the dialogue came straight from the book, which I can understand how that could be bad, so I guess it wasn't so great that I made him read the book so close to actually seeing it. x:

I saw this movie poster and I took a picture because I was just talking to him the other day about how I didn't know what a machete looks like lol. For our first Things Fall Apart test last year, Stover made us draw a scene from the book, and I drew the one where Okonkwo stabs Ikemefuna with a machete, and I didn't know what a machete looked like so I drew an axe. And then Ken called me a dumbass lol.

I told him later I was kind of annoyed though. Right when we got to Del Amo, he told me he had to go to Hermosa Beach after the movie cuhs he was volunteering for Key Club (it wasn't mandatory, but he wanted to get his points done over the summer). I had actually cleared my schedule and turned down other plans so I could hang out with him today, so that definitely got to me. But I did end up talking to him about it, and he apologized and said we'd have the whole day on Friday when we go to watch Scott Pilgrim, so I was content. (:

Anyhow, after I drove him to Hermosa Beach, I got lost coming home. D; I was looking for 190th Street, where I was supposed to turn, but the signs are so small I must've missed it, because next thing I know, I'm at the end of Hermosa, and the street is actually curving and spitting me back out onto a main street that I've never heard of. So I'm driving and driving on this foreign street, looking for cross street names that a recognize, meanwhile getting more and more nervous. Suddenly, I see Torrance Blvd! Actually I saw it a little late, and made a really late turn into the lane, and ended up having the back half of my car block half of the lane I turned in from lol. Anyhow, I was driving down Torrance, and by this time, I was like, completely disoriented in terms of directions. I seriously had no idea if I was going east or west, and so since I still wasn't recognizing street names, I had no idea if I was just getting further and further away from home! At one point I passed a street called Palos Verdes Blvd or something and I freaked! But I just kept going and I passed a street called Victor, and I remembered this street, because Jen and I passed it when we went to the beach with Tony's friend that one time, and I thought of Victor Feight lol. And then I kept going and I passed Anza, and then fiiinally came to Crenshaw. And then I finally got home lol.

Anyhow, everyone was gone, cuhs they were at Catalina (except for Andy, who just got home from refereeing in San Francisco and was sleeping), so I invited Jen and Tiffany over. Jen brought a couple of Miyazaki movies (plus House and Bones), so we watched Princess Mononoke.

Jen dipped a barbecue chip in the barbecue sauce and squirmed and said "... IT'S SO BARBECUE-Y!"

After Princess Mononoke, Jen put in a disc of House (despite my great protests), even though no one ended up watching.

I started updating my blog and she started designing the rest of our Little Big Planet level lol.

Then the family came home, and we went to Seafood Port again, and it was delicious. (8

We were looking at our fortune cookies, and on the back of each fortune they teach you a word in Chinese. Uncle looked at his and thought he won grapes hahaha. (x
