We went to Church today for the first time this month lol. I kind of feel like the more I go, the more I lose my faith. It's easy enough to blame it on the preaching -- to put it lightly, Pastor Dan is just not a great speaker -- but I dunno. They've just never made us feel like we belonged to the congregation. Today we sat behind this row of teens (lol teens? It feels weird calling them that; I knew them back when we went more frequently, and they were all a foot shorter than me), and they seemed so obnoxious (was I like this? Probably.) and I just felt so turned off from being there. I started drawing on my program during the sermon cuhs it helps me listen better. Nowadays I just find myself developing all these ideas and theories about God and Heaven and whatnot (kind of like when I came up with the idea of reincarnation on my own lol).
Afterwards, we dropped Andy off at home (since he doesn't like ramen) and we all went to Umemura and ordered a shitload of food lol. Two Yakiniku ramens, one Kanitama Chahan, one Umani Yakisoba, and one Tanmen Miso Ramen. Lol. I can't believe I actually remember all those names; just goes to show how many times Mom and I have actually been there!I fell asleep for a long time, and had this weird dream; it started out with two black guys (one of them may or may not have had Chris Tucker's face). There was this switch that they had that they press and switch places. Apparently there were these bad guys out to kill them, and I forget what happens, but black guy one's in this tall building, and some grenade goes off, and the bad guys go down the elevator, and he's running down the stairs. And then suddenly it switches, and instead of the black guys, it's me and Danny Inouye. The switch is different now; we each have one, and it's hard to explain ... Basically I had his switch and he had mine, and the switches controlled something about us, so we had to find each other and exchange them. We're running around in the mall, and meanwhile all these people are chasing us. Suddenly I find Danny and we exchange switches, and he runs one way, and I run the other, and all these people are around us, trying to kill us. And when there's nowhere left to run, I break the glass and jump out the window. And die. And then six days later I'm reborn. And there's this other girl who's reborn, with this ugly square tatoo on her arm, above a red A (this part was clearly influenced by the fact that I had just watched the trailer for 'Easy A' btw).
Weird, huh.
Anyway, when I woke up, Andy was making guacamole for tacos and quesadillas. He was asking Mom to buy him some stuff for it earlier, but she said no cuhs he never finishes it, and we just end up throwing a lot of food away. But apparently Uncle wanted some too, so she caved.
Also, apparently at some point while I was asleep, Andy drove over to Ken's house to pick up his souvenirs from Japan (and I guess mine while he was at it). Ken got me this shirt! =D At first I saw it and was like 'oh shit it's too small' (and then I was amused cuhs I got Ken a shirt that was too big and he got me one that was too small lolol), but then I tried it on and it fits, like. Perfectly hahah. (x Anyway, I really like it.
Andy asked Ken to get him these Dr. Grip pens that have these pens built into it. It's funny, cuhs they remind me of those all-in-one color pens we had when we were little, and we really didn't like them lol. But then again those were really kind of shaky, thin pens, and I tried one of Andy's, and it writes really smoothly.
Also, I was looking for this pen. I told Andy he probably saw it on my desk (since I usually just have my pens and stuff scattered around), thought it was his and took it, but he wouldn't even let me look in his pencil pouch, and claimed it was his, that he had no extras, and that he didn't have any new ones for me either. And then when he was cooking his tacos and quesadillas, I snuck into his pencil pouch and found two of these pens. Just like I had said. Idiot. -___-;Anyway, I have my UCLA Orientation tomorrow and I am excited! (8 It is currently about 1am, and I have to wake up tomorrow at around 6am, so I better get sleeping lol.
