This is jack fruit! I had it a week ago! I asked both Mom and my aunt and they didn't know what it was called. I remember Victor talking about it, and something about how the first bite tastes like heaven and the aftertaste was shit or something lol. Totally not as good/bad as he described it.
Around 2-ish, I went to pick up Grandma and Grandpa and take them over to their dermatologist Dr. Wang. I was originally supposed to take Eva to do her testing at Elco, but I dunno if I felt like I was gonna take her to the wrong place or what, but I just felt more comfortable driving the grandparents around, so I switched with Andy.
After they got some meds and a prescription, we went over to Ralphs. I dropped off the prescription and they said to pick it up in 15 minutes, so I took Grandma and Grandpa home, and went back afterwards.I downloaded all these ipod apps yesterday, and I was trying to get them to sync today before I went to pick up the grandparents, but it wouldn't for some reason. And then I came home and realized the sync apps box wasn't checked. So after I came home I spent all this time playing around with my ipod lol. One of the games I got was Doodle God and basically all you're doing is making combinations with these elements (it sounded a lot cooler in the description |:) and once you make a combination there's a little quote at the bottom of the screen. Like, I made quicksilver, and there was a quote that read "Love is like quicksilver in the hand. Leave the fingers open and it stays. Clutch it, and it darts away."
Also, I finally got messages back from Brack and Jaimie with their phone numbers (cuhs I wanted to use them as references for my Borders application). I wasn't sure if I still had to list Jaimie as a reference cuhs there was this section earlier that asked for her information and if they could call her (which I answered yes). So I went to Yahoo Answers, and apparently the earlier section only allows them to ask if I had worked for the Y, and not anything about my work performance or anything, so I ended up taking off Brack and listing Jaimie. And then I submitted my application. (8 Now the waiting period begins!
