Subbed for Jennifer Mera today. When Alyssa finished her shift, she showed me these speakers she was using that she'd gotten from the back room (we can listen to music on deck now which is awesome). So during my break I got my ipod from my car and hooked it up to the speakers; they were really great cuhs they weren't too loud. But then after the first song my batteries ran out. DDD; ... It was a good five minutes though.
After I got home and ate, I noticed Mom was working on the puzzle again so I jumped in and worked on it too, cuhs we were so close to finishing and I wanted to be there when we put the last piece in. 8D And then Mom's student came so she had to go do her lesson, and I finished it and she was all sad LOL. I offered to save her a few pieces but she said no. xD
Since yesterday's alfredo was so good I felt like making more. (8 I drove over to Ralphs to pick up some stuff and this time I got mushrooms! I had grabbed these brown mushrooms cuhs they were the cheapest ones there ($1.89), and then I called Mom to make sure I made a good pick.Me: Hey what's the difference between white and brown mushrooms?
Her: Well the white ones are fresh.
Me: ... Oh.
Her: Yeah the brown ones aren't fresh anymore.
Me: Oh. Yeah cuhs I saw the brown ones were cheap lol.
So I ran back and grabbed the white ones lol. The lines were so long; everyone's doing some grocery shopping for 4th of July.
It was really fun to make; this was like the first time I'd legitimately cooked something on the stove by myself (ignoring the fact that the sauce was pretty much already done). (8 I boiled the water and stirred the pasta in there. Meanwhile, I cooked the mushrooms and then added some soy sauce (it smelled amazing 8D). And then I added some soy beans and salt to the pasta. And then I heated up the sauce, added some soy bean milk, and stirred in the mushrooms. 8D
And then Mom commented on how little mushrooms I used, so I cooked the rest and dumped them all into the alfredo sauce lol.

Andy came back from visiting Lauren in San Diego and gave us some presents she got for us in China, and this huge ass monkey thing that I'm guessing he won in San Diego lol. It's cute, but seriously there's no room for it. xP
