2O7.

English AP exam this morning; Stover brought us all this food (and Billy brought Friendship Bread again lol). 8D

The MC was really easy. Like, really easy. I don't even think I'm being overconfident; I went back and looked over all my answers, and I think they're all right! The passages were all really straightforward; there was really only one passage I had trouble with, and it's because the English was a bit more difficult, and the whole thing was very metaphorical (like, it described a wig as something something false from something corpse. Or something like that). But even that one I figured out after a few reads. And I confided in other people, and most of them got the same answers as me too.

I was so proud of myself for the first essay. It was this poem called The Century Quilt, and I just rocked it. I might not have gotten a 9, or an 8, or even a 7, but it was definitely better than anything I'd ever written in Stover's class. I just kept thinking about that essay Ryan wrote for the Blackberry Picking poem and how I'd picked up on all the analysis he wrote about, and how for some reason I didn't mention any of it. And so I kept thinking "What would Ryan do?" (I told him this later and he laughed.) Okay, maybe not literally, but something along those lines of keep analyzing, keep going, write down everything you noticed! I talked about the colors, about the quilt's association with the speaker's hopes and dreams, and so on. I skipped over to the third essay next, cuhs the second essay was the hardest for me, and judging by the amount of time it took me to write the first essay, I was probably gonna run out of time. The third one, the free response, asked about a character who'd been exiled, and I was like OH OH OH TESS. CUHS SHE WAS EXILED PHYSICALLY AND SOCIALLY. So I wrote about that lol. And then I went back to the second essay, which was the passage, and I couldn't quite figure out what it was talking about. Like, at first it seemed like the speaker was talking crap about the guy. Then he kind of wasn't. And then there was this Belinda girl. And yeah. That one was a mess lol. I still feel pretty good about it though. (8

We had the period vs. period review game after school for enviro today! I had been really looking forward to it earlier on in the year when Estabrook first told us about it, but I just wasn't really excited today, just cuhs I've been slacking off with the studying lately, and haven't been performing as well as I used to in the review games. Anyhow, Kent (being the douche he is) was determined to sit in the same seat as me and redeem himself, since I had annihilated him in the first review game of the year, back when I was in fourth period. But yeah omg, he was so fast. xD; Estabrook would barely finish the question and his flag would be in the air. I just don't have those kinds of reflexes anymore! Fourth period took an early lead, and we pretty much just stayed at zero to two points, while third period went back and forth between gaining points and losing them lol. Anyhow, as the game progressed, we got more into the swing of things; fourth period missed a lot, and then we took a big lead. And then after a while third period took the lead. After a while, all three periods were all tied up! Estabrook asked if we wanted to keep on going, and we were all like call it quits! So in the final score, we were all tied hahah. (x

I was going to go to swim practice today; I haven't gone in like, three weeks (lol), and today's the last practice, but the review game went on longer than I had expected, and I didn't really feel like it afterwards lol.
