It's Grace's birthday today, so Tiffany and I headed over to Jen's house to bake her a cake. ... And also to play FFXIII lol. I'm pretty sure I'm never (or not going to in the near future) getting a PS3 so might as well right? Anyhow, the graphics were awesome. The story was kind of confusing, especially with all their terminology and the fact that you had to go read up on all this history in the menu to understand it. I really hate how linear it is. Like, seriously, there's nowhere you can go! It's such a huge shift from XII, which was like, completely non-linear. I'm not crazy about the battle system either, since it's like a cross between XII and X, where the monsters appear on the screen and you can avoid them if you want, but then if you come in contact with them, then you're just trapped in a separate battle screen and there's not even an 'escape' option.
Tiffany was pretty much the only one actually working with the cake; Jen and I were playing XIII, and occasionally calling her over for a cut scene lolll.
I was really annoyed because around this time, when they had just finished baking the cake, Mom called me saying my student or something was at my house. And I figured it was that Louie kid, since he'd come with Adrienne's (sp?) mom last week, and we'd talked about tutoring him for calculus. But they had said that we'd do it during the week and probably after 6pm (cuhs I have swim practice), and just ... wtf! They can't just randomly drop in and expect me to be there. -___-; Anyhow, I ended up going home and tutoring him for maybe half an hour or so. And then I was talking to Adrienne's mom and we agreed on $20. And then I don't know what happened, but I was talking to Mom, and she said Adrienne's mom said I said it was free! And wtf! I don't know if she said something like that in Chinese and I didn't really understand it and just agreed to it or what happened, but asdf. So stupid. e______e... And then I got cramps. So I wasn't gonna go back to Jen's house, but they said they made lemon bars and really wanted me to go so yeah lol.

We dropped by Grace's house around 7:30-ish and gave her the cake! She seemed really surprised and happy hahah.
