154.

Last piano CM test ever today! Mom always says to dress in something that looks nice but that you can still play comfortably in; I always ask her for her suggestions, and as a result, I've worn the same thing three years in a row loll. |:

It started out alright; I played my first song - the Scarletti song - with minimal mistakes. The second Beethoven one was baaad lol. I don't know what happened, but I must've messed up my fingering or something because I totally couldn't pick it back up. Like, I was stuck on that same spot, trying to pick it back up for like five minutes and I couldn't do it! My judge was really nice though; she was this old lady, and she actually let me go over to the table and look at my sheet music (which I totally didn't expect, because I remember when I took level 9 and I choked, that lady just failed me lol). Anyhow, I finally finished it. I made some mistakes on my Chopin Polonaise too, but thankfully I played my Chinese song flawlessly; that's the song I'm going for Honors and Convention with. Broke down in La Campanella too, but I was able to pick it back up again way faster than the Beethoven. Anyhow, I'm just really glad to have it all over with lol.

I went home, changed, and drove over to North for the Multicultural rehearsal. I couldn't make it in time for the first run through, so I guess they just went on without me. Most of the programs were essentially the same as the years before. That's Linda and her sister in the picture; they really don't look much alike lol. I thought the finale was a little lame this year; it was just this guy singing and us walking/dancing into the center and bowing. I guess it makes sense in a way; the big dances in the past years had always been pretty messy and unsynchronized.
