We had our con-beef debate today. I was kind of annoyed that no one in my group besides me even had their argument memorized; I mean, Estabrook straight out said yes, we had to have them memorized, so that was a little annoying. It's more frustrating that I was the one who took the most time to prepare for the debate (apparently), and because everyone else took so long with their parts, since I went last, I didn't even get to finish my speech when we ran out of time. When Tiffany was nearing the end of her speech, Estabrook signaled that we only had one minute left, and I was like 'Craaaaap,' cuhs my speech alone is about a minute and 30 seconds. And then when I just got through saying "However, there are some serious downsides to this alternative diet," Estabrook started counting down 5, 4, 3 ... and I ended up saying something like "... AHHH AND IT FORMS BACTERIA AND THAT'S BAAAAAD."Since it was a late start, the period was shorter, and we didn't even get to finish the rebuttals. I started our rebuttal, though, and completely annihilated Craig (looool) before Estabrook told us to finish up tomorrow.
