Jen or someone called me and said we were practicing the Chinese ribbon dance at the library today, and I assumed we were practicing in the preschool room like we did last year (I was wrong), so I came armed with what was left of my Hot Cheetos and Sour Cream and Onion Lays that I bought yesterday, to save us the usual snack run. After biking over and realizing that either my wheels were losing air or I was severely out of shape, I found Jen and Jen in JenWa's car. Just. Sitting there. Or actually, JenWa was reading something not-
Tess, which was mind blowing.
Also, I thought Kent was at the library studying, but apparently the place is closed on Sundays, and he was at the other North Torrance Library. D:

We started teaching Tiffany the dance (though it should be noted that it was more us figuring out and trying to remember the dance than actually teaching her), and we had this dilemma of who spins out right and who spins out left, and Jen found this pencil on the ground and was mapping it out lol.

Tiffany thought the ribbons looked really pretty, and really wanted to take pictures with them, so we did, and we probably spent more time posing than practicing haha. Jen and I got on the table, and we were gonna jump off it for a midair-type thing. Turns out it wasn't the smartest idea, cuhs when we landed, the impact was too great on our feet, and we both fell on our knees, except I actually banged up my knee on the cement and now I have this nasty bruise all over it. And Tiffany didn't even get the shot, since apparently she didn't know we were gonna jump. -.-;

... Okay, you know what, I thought we were going for some quietly dramatic type thing.

Later, Mom, Andy, Dan, and I all went to Tampopo for dinner, and in retrospect, it probably wasn't such a great idea to order five plates of sushi when I was full from all the chips, but during this lapse of sanity, I made a monumental discovery: the BSC Roll. It is glorious. And I will go back and have some more some day on an empty stomach when I can appreciate it in all its magnificence.
