It's that time of year again ~ We were gonna do this gift exchange game, where people grab a gift, and then you go around and steal the ones you want, and then after it's stolen like three times, it can't be stolen anymore, but then Jane was all like "Noooo what if I get something bad?" and we were like "Well that's why you steal!" and then she was like "But that's mean!" and I was basically trying to explain how she could get something bad if we did Secret Santa too. But yeah, I think Jasmyne & Moriah were like "It's new and we don't understand it!" so we're doing Secret Santa again. |:

I brought the alodea plant to school today and shoved it in the bottle hahah. I was really worried Robert was gonna be dead cuhs I forgot to feed him before the Thanksgiving break, and when I went into Estabrook's room at lunch, he was just like. SLUMPED AT THE BOTTOM WITH THE ROCKS. O_O But then I poked the bottle and he started moving lol. :`D

UC apps are due today and Jane hasn't turned hers in yet since she wanted to get her essay checked, so she gave it to us in second period, and we gave it back to her in fifth, and we DESTROYED that shit LOL. I don't know if she changed anything in the end though, since she was starting to think we were just messing around. And I dunno if it was a good idea for us to reword all her awkward sentences and stuff, since the point of the personal statement is to capture your own individual voice, but yeah.

When I came home Mom had all the Christmas lights and stuff set up hahah. She got these tree branch type lights, and I thought they were pretty cool hahah. I was bugging her about how Dan's rubbing off on her, and how she buys all this random crap now lolll.

I've got to say, it is a great feeling, being able to hold that copy of my completed UC app. (8 Andy looked over my UC's and USC apps this morning (so ensue much yelling, but I think the more he yells at me, the more I'm able to tolerate it lol), and he was able to figure out what was wrong with my fine arts credits, and I was finally able to submit it later in the day. And all my fees were waivered too! =D It's just so great to have that weight off my shoulders now.

Mom and I put up Christmas decorations today. =D I was gonna run out and get the plant for our fish, but she told me to set up the tree and that she'd get it for me so yeah. Every year as I put up the ornaments, I think of how bizarre and ridiculous some of them are individually (like seriously, we have all these little stuffed animals on there), but how it kind of looks nice as a whole hahah.

So apparently the pet shop by Ralphs didn't even have the plants, so Mom went around and got them for me at some other place, so it's a good thing I had her go instead of me hahah. She said they were like $4 each, which is insane, but hey. Anything for Robert. 8D

Mom didn't want to cook tonight, so I suggested we go to Olive Garden, since their commercials are extremely convincing, and we haven't been there since I was like, 9, when Fred treated the whole swim team. And I didn't have a really good impression of it back then cuhs we didn't know what the hell we were ordering, and I got some weird vegetable soup and yeah lol.

Our waiter reminded me of Brandon Montgomery lol.

I got the Stuffed Chicken Marsala and it was gooooood. ... Especially the mashed potatoes LOL. It seems every restaurant knows how to make their mashed potatoes especially bomb hahah. But yeah, I got really full just from the soup; apparently they have free refills on soup and salad, which just like, blows my mind, because I have never encountered that anywhere hahah. But yeah, it was good. 8D

... I'M NOT DONE COLORING IT! BUT IT'S ALREADY PAST 12 AND I STILL HAVE PHYSICS HOMEWORK, AND ASDF. ;~~~; I really did not manage my time well today. D:

Mom and I went Black Friday shopping today. =D We went to the Manhattan Beach mall first, cuhs they usually have more dresses, and I needed a dress for the recital, but we didn't really find anything. Then we went over to Del Amo to look around, and I got this coat from H&M that I could never wear except for formal occasions when I have a fancy dress on lol.

And then I really wanted Sbarro so we brought some home and it was good. ♥

And then at work Art gave me another freaking write-up. -__- Except I called him and he was like "It's not a write-up, it's a counseling statement!" and was like "It's to help you improve!" but I was still pissed because the reasons they listed on the thing weren't even legit. Basically they said I didn't kick out people from the pool when there are lessons and I didn't kick out kids from the whirlpool AND I DID BOTH THOSE THINGS! AND PEOPLE GOT PISSED AT ME WHEN I DID! And! Asdf. -__-;

Mom and I are going over to Dan's for Thanksgiving part two today lol. I think Andy was busy or didn't want to go or something. But yeah, spent the morning making another broccoli casserole to bring to Dan's, and then I just slept for a few hours. Andy woke me up afterwards since apparently he really wants me to meet his girlfriend via webcam lol.

Dan's son Armand was going too with his daughters Mila (sp?) and Maxine, so Mom and I went to 99 Ranch Market to pick up some treats for them (and myself ohohoho 8D).

While we were waiting for Armand to show up, I was channel surfing, and I landed on this Korean drama, and the first thing I saw was this girl in this white nightgown-type thing with blood all over her with some guy chasing her in some multi-floored building, and I was like "lolol Darkness 2," so I kept watching. And then she runs out and meets this guy and they're all like smiiiiiiiiiile, and then suddenly her eyes turn red and her head starts twitching LOL and I was cracking up and changed the channel cuhs it kind of unnerved me. But then I went back a few minutes later cuhs nothing else was on and I was curious now. xD

But yeah, when I went back, the girl was at her high school, and while all the kids were playing dodgeball for PE, this girl climbs onto the ledge of their school and plays her violin before jumping off. And then it was actually pretty graphic, like, they show her crashing into the ground and everything, but it happened so fast I didn't really get a chance to freak out lol. Anyway, afterwards the eye-twitch girl (her name's Hana lol) keeps seeing the dead girl (like, actually dead. With white skin and black shadows around her eyes and everything) everywhere, and. IT WAS TERRIFYING BUT I COULDN'T LOOK AWAAAAAY. We started to eat, and I couldn't help looking back at the tv! And then Mila & Maxine weren't eating yet, so they were just coloring some coloring books in front of the tv and I was like "Oh God, what if this scars them for life" lol, but I don't think they really understood what was going on. But yeah, when I got home I asked Jee if she knew what show it was (cuhs I figured "Oh, she's Korean. She likes scary stuff. She must know!"), and she looked it up and found it, and it's called Possessed or Hon, and I'm gonna make either her or Kent watch it with me at some point. 8D

Anyhow, Armand's girls were so cute (and he didn't seem like the total douchebag like I've been hearing looool)! When they were leaving, Max kept staring up at me, and so I kept staring down at her (cuhs ... that's what I do when little kids stare at me LOL), and then I leaned down and she gave me a kiss hahaha. What a cutie. (x

Mom sent me off to Ralphs this morning to pick up some stuff to make the broccoli casserole. Ralph brands are awesome; this was all just $9!

Lol we essentially just had 3 things: the turkey, the mashed potatoes, and the broccoli casserole.

Andy wasn't even there cuhs he had to tutor some kids in math, and wasn't back til 10, which is too bad, but we had so much food left over it didn't even matter. I was very disappointed in myself; I barely got through half my plate and I was full. D: WHAT HAS BECOME OF MEEEEE.

Got all the group pics today. =D Jane gave me our other group pictures, and I was like "Ooh, 8 wallets. 8D" and started giving them away, and then in gov, David told me that the 8 were for both me and Khang, and I was like "Oh crap, I can't give any more away then," LOL. I only gave one to Jen though so it's not that bad. (x Just need to ask if the family even wants one or not.

Mom and I started Thanksgiving preparations tonight. (8

I had tears streaming down my face. ;o; Ken told me to chew gum but I only lasted like a minute longer lol. I had to take, like, 5 minute breaks in between every time my eyes started burning! I did finish making the stuffing in the end though. 8`)

Ryan had these scissors that folded up all awesome-like, and Ken got really excited about it LOL. He was cutting up little triangles the whole period and ... putting them in his hair lolll.

We got our Homecoming pictures today. =D They cut off our feet. D: Matt has our group picture, so he'll give that to us tomorrow or something. I liked the group one, although my legs were GLARINGLY WHITE. AND ALL THE GUYS MADE SURE TO POINT THAT OUT TO ME. ;O; And Ken was like "lol my girlfriend's eyes are closed." Which kind of makes you wonder why the photography people chose that picture out of all the takes we took. xD I have no idea who has our other group picture, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see lolll.


Johnson (and Bea) kicked me and Frank off board today. And I was going to talk about that, but I think what hurt the most was your apathy.

I was really frustrated with Jennifer last night since she didn't get any of the fabric and didn't organize our t-shirt making thing today at all, so I was going to go in the morning with Mom. And then right when we were gonna leave, I saw she'd left a message on my phone saying she already went out and got everything. And. I dunno, I just really appreciated that. :`)

We went to Costco and got our turkey along with a crapload of other miscellanies lol.

Everyone came over around 1:30 (except for Jennifer, who was an hour early and Tiffany who was an hour late lol), and we got to work. (8 I wanted to have a white border underneath the floral pattern, so I got that bag of (Andy's) old t-shirts that I have just ready and waiting to be cut up, and we got a lot of old white shirts from there. So glad I finally found some use of having all of those hahaha.

Mom got us some pizza, crazy bread, and chicken from Little Caesar's and we watched The Wizard of Oz since it was on TBS lol.

I really didn't think making the t-shirts would take us so long; they didn't leave until around 7pm. I think it's cuhs we sucked at sewing so much lol. I got better as I went though. :`D

Ines asked me to come in at 5:45 for her today, so I did, and the pool lights weren't even on yet, which was kind of eerie, but pretty cool and calming.

I had a horrible day at work today. In an effort to actually do something at work, I went and kicked out this lady and her kids who were in the instructional pool when I saw that Julie had a class over there. And then she was all like "Oh but your schedule says there's family swim from 9:30 - 10:30", and I was like. Yeah, sorry, but sometimes it's wrong, you know? And then she got out and then Ines came over, and I don't know what they said, but apparently it turns out that Julie wasn't even supposed to be in the instructional pool; she was supposed to be in the east pool because she had polliwog, but she went over to the instructional pool because it was empty and the water's warmer. And then the lady gets all mad at me because I kicked her out instead and cuhs I didn't know the schedule or something. And that pisses me off, because first of all, how is this my fault? I assume the swim instructors know where the hell they're supposed to be. Julie wasn't even supposed to be over there! I've never had an instructor be in a completely different pool from where they're supposed to be! And second, I don't need to know the schedule. It doesn't even apply half the time anyway. And third, just go into another pool!

This shouldn't have bothered me so much, but I just haven't had to deal with angry people in a while. If I've learned anything from this it's to just be content with doing nothing.

Andy really knows how to put people to use. He made me and Dad run off to Seafood Port and Giuliano's to get him dinner. -__- On a related note, that was the first time I actually went into Giuliano's! I was totally expecting something like Subway, but it's like a little market and deli and bakery in there lol. It was pretty cool; I wish I had my camera with me so I could've taken a picture. D:
