So it was kind of a depressing start to the day; I kind of went into school kind of down cuhs I didn't get to study much for the gov test in third period, and I really felt like I was gonna have a repeat of last time with the econ. We got our labs and homework back first thing in physics, and I had mine aaall marked up in red again. And I was really frustrated cuhs I felt like I had made the exact changes Mas told me to, so I went up to him to ask what was wrong with it. And he was explaining it, and then towards the end he was just kind of like "To be honest, I was just really disappointed, since I was expecting a lot more from you, and I feel like you just did the bare minimum." And I was just like
ughhhhh, that's so true. I couldn't even be annoyed when he admitted that he was harsher with the grading than he should've been since he totally got it right. I'm such a mess with my schoolwork right now, and I've totally got my priorities out of order. Anyhow I told him I was gonna come in for help on the quiz at lunch in an attempt to get back on track. I'm gonna have to start doing
something different. :\
First rainy day of the new school year! At some point in the middle of first period it just started pouring all at once, and it was
awesome. I love rainy days. ♥
We went back to the computer lab to work on our sonnet powerpoints in English. Stover said something about including the speaker and audience, and we were like "Wtf, who's the audience?" so I was like "... THE WORLD." And then Brett put that and I said to find some clip art of hands holding the world lol, and then he was messing with the animations and totally couldn't get it right. xD
After school after I talked to MacInnis about writing my a recommendation (which was alarmingly painless o_O) I finally got around to asking the library for a new book; the new librarian lady was like "Okay, I'll just bring out all the books we have and you can pick one," and they were all kind of old and falling apart, so I just went through and looked to see if they had the homework pages. She brought out like 7 or so books, and the first four were all missing pages LOL. I finally found one that
seemed intact for the most part though. Success!
