O2O.

I was gonna go eat and trick-or-treat with the bonfire people (for lack of a better collective term to call them lol), but Mom was like, dead set against it. D: So I ended up working on animating all those pictures Jen and I took yesterday lol.

Mom and I went to Umemura for dinner; I went to her during her lesson --

Me: So you're really not gonna let me go out with my friends?
Her: No.
Me: ... Sooooo do you want to go to Umemura then?
Her: LOL maybe.

At, like, 8:45-ish, Frank called me and said "Hey Annie, we're outside your house right now," and I was like "LOL seriously?" and I went to get some candy for them, and they were so loud, I could totally hear them from the kitchen hahaha. But yeah, omg, there were so many of them just crowded around our porch; I still have no idea who's in that gorilla suit LOL. I really wish I could've gone with them tonight, but I'm really glad they stopped by; totally made my night. (x

And then, like, right after we took this picture, Andy pulled into the driveway and was like honking at us and everything hahah. And then after he parked, he was like heading over to them, going "WHERE THE HELL IS KHANG LAM, I'M GONNA BEAT YOU UP." and I was like "OH GOD." LOL.

Chipotle was doing a free meal thing for anyone who wore aluminum foil (so they were dressing up like a burrito hahah), and apparently Andy and his friends went and hit up five different Chipotle restaurants LOL.


Isn't it sad how we're not always gonna feel this way?

We all dressed up for Halloween today! Jen and Moriah's costumes were actually really good, and it was all the more impressive since they made them from scratch! During SSR, Jen and I went around and got Jasmyne and Moriah, and we were originally taking a picture for Margy for yearbook, but then we just started going around and posing for ourselves. xD It worked out well that Brack was absent, our sub was chill, and that the rest of the class was off playing Monopoly LOL.

I brought my lifeguard stuff for Jane cuhs she wanted to be a lifeguard hahah. I told her she was wearing the shirt backwards, BUT SHE INSISTED.

Bea was a cavewoman lol.

We voted on where we're gonna have Grad Night in Econ; pretty much our whole class was for Gable House, but Hendricks said that his other classes were split almost 50-50. :\

Brett and I switched clothes in English LOL. It's cuhs he said something about having the whole Mario costume at home, and that I should've told him and he would've worn his too. So then he was Mario for the period, and I was ... Brett hahaha.

While the Hamlet video was playing, we were drawing mustaches on our index fingers lolll. Brett totally drew me some shitty mustache, and then Tiffany was trying to fix it up, BUT ALAS, IT WAS ALREADY TOO LATE. ... Then Brett made himself a little Hitler mustache LOL.

I love how this guy knows exactly how to cheer me up.

So this fell out of my backpack this morning LOL. I think I saw Frank or someone with it in Econ yesterday or something, so I guess he must've shoved it in my backpack at some point.

Only semi-failed that Econ test today! (8 I still stayed after class though, since I left like three questions blank, and Hendricks doesn't have a 4th, and Stover doesn't mind, so I was just gonna take my time on those. And then on my last question, I had absolutely no idea how to solve it. So I turned to Hendricks and said "Hey, wanna give me a hint on this one? =D" ... And he didn't even know how to solve it. -__- He even called Jasmine over (she was still in the room too) to have her explain to us how she got it. Which is fine by me, since I got a free answer out of it, but still! I mean, you're the teacher! Shouldn't you know how to do these? :\

It was Econ, and Hendricks was rambling on again, so I wrote this on Khang's neck, and then went over it with highliter lol. And I thought he was gonna keep it, but then he totally smeared and wiped it off. D: I offered to do a matching one for Frank on his neck but he passed hahaha.

I got a Call to Office slip in 4th today, and MacInnis wasn't even freaking there when I went. I guess she went off-campus before I got there or something, so she gave Miller my stuff, and she finished my recommendation and sent everything out! =D I read over it and it looks pretty good (even though some of the little stuff she said wasn't true lol).

Estabrook was explaining habitat fragmentation. I love his pictures. xD

I don't show up to AD for one day, and this happens. -_- I blame Jasmine entirely, since no secret is safe once in her hands (even though this isn't much of a secret, but still), and apparently she was talking about it all loud and stuff in that class, which is how Billy found out, and apparently Victor now too. I'm not really sure how to feel about this, I mean on the one hand, I guess I'm like. Happy that they're so enthusiastic about it; plus it's spawn some funny conversations lol. I don't know, I guess I'm just not used to people being all up in my business. :\

I took my last ACT ever at Gardena High today. I was going down the list of who was in my class and I was like "LOL REHAN'S IN MY CLASS." cuhs I haven't seen him since last year since he went over to Torrance High. But then that loser didn't even show up, and when I asked him about it later, he was like "I didn't feel like it." -.-; But yeah, I saw Forest there today too; I think he was taking it for the first time. Mom told me he was taking it too, but I kind of forgot, or at least I didn't expect him to be at the same school lol. Also, I accidentally stole a bag of Hot Cheetos. 8D

It's Homecoming todayyyyyy. Frank picked me up, and we all met up at Matt's house around 5-ish.

My corsage from Khang who got it from Matt. ... So really it's my corsage from Matt lolll. Anyhow it was really pretty. (: Mom would like it hahah.

... And the girls. (8 That's Jacob's girlfriend Gloria in the middle (I had no idea she was Janice Kang's sister lol), and next to her in red is Matt's date Janey. Ken's girlfriend wasn't ready yet or something, so she didn't show up with him.

Afterwards, we went to North for preshots. We basically just hung out in the parking lot for half an hour cuhs we were waiting on Ken, since he went back to pick up Emily. And then we kept calling him and he kept saying "Yeah, I'm like a minute away." Except it was a really long minute. -.- When I called him he was like "Yeah I'm still at her house, she's doing her makeup." So we were like OKAY NO, WE'RE GOING ON WITHOUT YOU. Hahaha, but yeah, they made it in time for the group picture so it's all good. We went to The Loft afterwards for dinner (except I wasn't really hungry so I just got some quesadillas lol), and then back to North for the dance. (:

Tatsuya was crowned Homecoming King, and then all the candidates shared a dance. I was thinking how it was kind of fitting; back in 6th grade Natsha had this huge crush on Tatsuya, so it's kind of cute how they both ended up here. ... If only that still applied lol.

After the dance, I went with Andy, Grace, Jane, Tiffani, and Tiffany to Tea Station for some boba; Andy's uncle drove us over, and we totally didn't fit, so we were all just like squished in there hahah. When we got to Tea Station there were all these people outside, and I guess Andy knew them (because he's so Chinese. And Tea Station's so Chinese.) and this guy asked him "Which one's your date?" and I said "We're all his dates!" and they were like "OHDAMN!" hahaha.

It's called Pig's Blood, lol. We were all kind of freaked out when Andy said he was gonna order some but the name totally wasn't literal, and it was pretty good. xD

It's Inseo's birthday today, so in second period, Brack bought all of Jennifer's Rice Krispies and split them with the class in celebration. We wrote "happy birthday" in all these languages on the board, and Jane and I got into this big thing over whether in Spanish it was "Feliz cumpleanos" or "Cumpleanos feliz" (and I got so into it that I even started to sing the song to prove my point lol). And then Ned said something about the song using the words backwards cuhs it fit the syllables better, and I was just like "... Ahhh crap. I've talked too much shit to back out now." Anyhow, I think Preston said that it was right both ways so we just left it at that lol.

Lollllllll. Stover wasn't here today so we just mostly messed around in class (I mean, we got all the work done, but still lol). Ken said something about having a laughing contest, in which the first person we laughs loses, and we had Billy and Victor join in too. In the end, it was between me and Victor, and he was making all these faces at me, I was kind of on the verge of laughing but not quite. And then Billy says "Just look at his hair." And I don't know, why, I just burst into laughter at that LOL.

Homecoming Assembly today. (:

The Candidates performed an "Evolution of Dance" thing for us and it was awesome. xD

Then after school, we had the First Annual Homecoming Carnival. (8 It was fun; there could've been better games and actual rides, but it was so great cuhs a lot of last year's seniors came too!

We were selling noodles at Chinese Club; Jennifer and I were only supposed to work the first shift, but then Clement and Tony came and asked to work our shift instead cuhs they had to leave later or something ... which is totally not true because they ended up being the ones working the booth for the rest of the Carnvial hahah. We all kept mooching off the noodles cuhs there were a lot and cuhs we were hungry lol. If Prisca were there she totally wouldn't have let us haha.

Afterwards we went to watch the Dunk Tank; there were so many people doing it! I heard that when Schena was up, Shiyana was throwing it but missed, and just ran up there and hit the button hahah. Anyway, when we got there, it was Nichols, and Salma and Leilani went over, and were like "Here's a ticket, go dunk her!" and I was like "Ahhhh no I have horrible aim! Ryan, you do it!" So he got in line and went for it; his first throw was really close but missed, and the second one was pretty off, but it hit the wire, and dunked her LOL. It was great. xD

They did a little parade with all the Homecoming Queen candidates with all the girls riding in convertibles, and then when they reached the stage, their dads escorted them up; Danielle Quan was there too since she was last year's queen. I didn't go to the game afterwards, where they revealed the Queen, but Natsha won. And I'm going to be happy for her. Yes I am. Yes I am yes I am yes I am.

Mom: They're just like music notes on a staff.

We were finishing up our labs in physics today; it was pretty intense. Basically after we finished all the calculations and stuff, we had to set up our ramps and figure out where to place the ring stand and hoop and where the egg would go, so that when we dropped the ball on the ramp, it would jump through the hoop and crack the egg. Ken and Ned's group went first and it was soo suspenseful! The whole class pretty much stopped working to watch every time someone was ready to launch.

We didn't get ours on the first or second try; it hit the ring stand. D: It's so frustrating too, cuhs we totally did everything right, but our ramp was kind of unstable, so we had all these textbooks and notebooks stacked up under the front to keep it level with the back, but it turned out that it still wasn't exactly level yet, so when the ball went over that spot, it changed the degree. Mas stuck a little more paper in there and then it worked perfectly.

He said that he'd still give us credit since it wasn't really our fault, but I'm not really sure what that means lol. I'm consoled by the fact that Jasmine's group, like, completely missed their target by like a meter.

Lulu: Do you know how big the ice cream sandwiches are?
Me: Well I'm about to find out. 8D

Tiffany and I were walking down N, and we saw that kind of new ice cream machine, and I wanted to try it out cuhs. I mean, it's ice cream. And it seemed kind of fun at the time. But yeah, that ice cream sandwich was tiiiiny. And it cost me a dollar. And it ended up being my lunch lol.

I'm not quite sure what happened, but at the beginning of class in Enviro, I guess Kelvin was running or something, and he knocked over one of the fish bottles, AND GO FIGURE IT TURNS OUT TO BE OURS. And Daniel was just like standing there going "OMG MY FISH!" and staring at the thing flipping around on the ground, and I was just like ... omg do something! And they just kept staring at it so I grabbed the container and filled it with water and then we got the fish back in there. I think our baby was traumatized by the experience. ;o;

Mom got on my case about taking pictures of my drawings for the Art Supplement thing for Stanford, so I finally got around to doing it. These are from when I took art at Elco during the summer; I couldn't find the colored ones though, don't know where Dad put them.

Mom wanted me to use this one too; it's from that summer after 9th grade when Mom made me sketch like everyday with Dad. I know I had more pictures from that period, but I had easy access to this one since Dad framed it and stuck it on my closet door lol. I went on Mom's computer and looked for some of my old piano recordings too (cuhs God knows I'm in no shape to be recording the pieces I'm playing now lol), and omg, it was just painful to watch them. The only ones I could find were from her recitals, and I get so nervous at those things and always make some huge mistake at the end. My Chinese selection from two years ago was okay though; I think I'm gonna use that plus my other song from 2008, except I'll crop the clip after the first two movements since I had another huge mistake at the end. So painful. I couldn't even sit through it. Had to fast-forward that thing.

There was a debate in the library at North for the people running for school board, and Hendricks was offering 20 points of extra credit to show up and fill out a worksheet, so pretty much the whole class was there lol. Also, I found out that Matt has a flower shop or something (or at least his parent does) LOL. I think Khang got me a corsage from him (and I was like "... Oh shit." cuhs I totally forgot about that) so I asked Matt to hook me up with a boutonniere for him too lolllll.

I neeeeeeed to get my license. ): Frank was giving me a ride home, and we were all in the parking lot, and then Ned's like "Oh, here's my car." And then Ken's like "Oh, there's my car." And then Matt's like "Oh, there's my car." And I know Brett has a car. And I'm like "... WTF? AM I THE ONLY ONE WITHOUT A CAR? O_O" And they were like "Yeah." And. I need my liceeeeeense. ;~;
